Shoot Overview

A trip to Pynes House just outside Exeter was made recently to capture the new linen range for Special Occasion Linen.  Pynes House is an historic, bespoke wedding venue and provided the perfect setting.

The photography needed to capture the new fabric features, softly textured woven finish and a natural drape that works equally well in formal and relaxed settings.

The collection is inspired by the quiet beauty of the English countryside and the names that follow.

Pearl White – a clean, luminous white that provides a versatile backdrop for any table setting.

Peony Pink – a soft, romantic pink inspired by garden blooms, bringing warmth and subtle character.

Cool Chalk – a muted off-white inspired by weathered limestone and sun-softened surfaces.

Wheat Stone – a warm, natural neutral tone, think sunlit fields and aged stone.

The imagery needed to appear as natural as possible.  A stylist was used to prepare for the shoot and for styling on the day. Essential shots included: close-ups, wide shots, 45-degree angle shots, and overhead place setting shots. Very little post-production was required.
