We live and work in the ‘Garden of England’ and over the last decade, there has been a massive growth in viticulture throughout Kent, Sussex and Essex. The Silverhand Estate is located on the North Downs at Luddesdown with the vineyards planted on chalk download on south-east facing slopes and the plantings are as far as the eye can see. There is an emphasis on mixed farming to ensure bio-diversity. The 2023 harvest is the largest ever in the UK due to increased plantings but also the warmer temperatures. We filmed at this beautiful location weeks before the harvest and chose late afternoon in September using a Mavic 2 Pro.
