Overview
We spent several days photographing and capturing video clips with the wonderful IWSC Team and wine judges for the IWSC 2025. This year the location was at a venue in Bishopsgate, London which meant easy access for the Judges being not far from Liverpool Street stations.
The Brief
To capture each day on camera as well as the moving image with slo-mo options, all members of the tasting team. This included the judges communicating with eachother, concentrating on tasting the wines or spirits in question. In addition to capture:
- Judging in Action – close-ups and wide shots – a range of imagery including red, white, rosé & sparkling wines.
- Behind the Scenes – the journey of the wine samples.
- Judges’ Portraits – candid style, landscape, portrait, plus general images.
- Venue Imagery – the event space, emphasising the competition layout.
In addition, aspects of the branding were also important to capture in a candid way. We were able to capture the London setting with the stunning views as we were up several levels; this included blue skies!
