IWSC Awards Ceremony – Battersea Arts Centre
The IWSC 2025 ceremony was held at the iconic Battersea Arts Centre (Battersea Town Hall, 1893) in November. It was a night when the culmination of all the medal and trophy-winning wines and spirits of 2025 were on display and available for tasting. We captured the wines and people here at this fabulous location.
Images were needed on the night for a press release, so they prepped straight afterwards and added to our platform that could then be easily shared with winners, vineyards, producers and press.
There are always challenges of Event photography, as often a recce is not done of the venue. Lighting is always a challenge, and it’s a dead given that a high iso will be needed.
Not getting too many ‘backs’ of people, ensuring you get the other side, which can be tricky when people are in groups. However, engaging with people and getting them to pose is a fun way to capture some fun images.
