Overview
To capture recipes using Millac Gold Double for Care Home settings. The recipes were created and demonstrated by Paul Jennings, Head of Food at Lakeland Dairies.
We filmed 4 recipes in total, together with an intro with Paul Jennings. All were filmed at the Mission Kitchen, South London.
Production
A crew of 3: Adrian. Jarod and Caitlin, together with the client, were present throughout one day.
We used a 3-camera setup to capture wide and close-up footage. Equipment included a Canon C300, and Black Magic Cinema Cameras, and was filmed in landscape format in 4K.
The lighting used was a Lantern light, which creates a lovely, soft light.
Audio, we used a lavalier mic.
Editing
Due to editorial deadlines, we needed to edit the recipes in landscape. As we filmed in landscape and 4K, this allowed us to crop into Portrait versions for reels.
Subtitles were also required. Though Adobe Premiere generates subtitles, these invariably have to be edited further due to brand names and correct positioning, as well as grammar.
Outcome
We delivered by the deadline to coincide with the publishing dates. QR codes were used to access the videos and recipes on the Lakeland Dairies web page. Visit the Lakeland Dairies webpage to view and read the recipes.
