Overview
Special Occasion Linen is a specialist linen hire company that distributes throughout the UK mainland.
Brief
We were approached with a specific brief to create a motion graphic to support their business. The motion graphics is to explain how their service works, benefiting their customers but also providing sales team support and ordering systems. The objective was to convey the simplicity of selecting, ordering and returning linen from customer events and special occasions, whatever their size.
Production
A script was delivered from the client, at which point we storyboarded and then began the build, creating 2D animations. The music was also selected at this stage. Rather than using text to explain the process together with the graphics, the client’s preferred option was the use of voice over. We provided a range of female VO options to choose from and a selection was made. Normally we would have met the VO artist at the recording studio however, due to Covid-19 this was all managed out efficiently by the studio, Lana Banana Studios which just so happens to be local to us in Sevenoaks, Kent. We were able to check the client was happy throughout the entire recording virtually via Zoom. After overlaying the VO, we were able to complete the project.
Outcome
The video is concise yet delivering relevant messages whilst remaining upbeat. The video will be used on Special Occasion Linen’s website, social platforms and other campaigns.
