We were approached by Steelite International to produce a video about the launch of a new range by London ceramicist Maham Anjum.
Objective: Video production for a National Restaurant Show, Chicago in June 2019.
The Brief: To film Maham working in her studio in north London and talking to camera. To capture the emotion of Maham’s ceramic art in her environment of her wheel, working with clay and surrounded by her ceramics at different stages of the process.
To then film and interview chefs and restaurateurs at their restaurants, this included Vivek Singh at the Cinnamon Club in Westminster, and Asma Khan at Darjeeling Express in Carnaby Street. In addition to film an interview with Steelite’s head designer, Andrew Klimecki
The choice of music to compliment Maham’s art and environment was important to get right with her garden and ambient birdsong. The graphics we wanted to be sophisticated, clean and fine.
Outcome:
A video that required only minor tweaks after the 1st edit was ready on time for the National Restaurant Show, Chicago.
